She has been an award-winning freelance writer for more than 20 years. Adding editing, proofreading, and blogging to her repertoire expanded her skill set. In the past decade, Cheryl has become schooled in social media, public relations, marketing and branding. She has continued to expand her knowledge of WordPress, attending WordCamp and working with WordPress experts in the past five years.

For eight years, Cheryl wrote, edited and coordinated special projects for Boston Design Guide. Since 2006, she has worked primarily in the residential building and home design industry offering marketing services, public relations and event development and management.

Cheryl has also consulted with non-profit organizations, life coaches to build their businesses and brands, consumer goods (footwear and fashion industry) and a start-up liquor company. A solo-preneur herself, she prefers working collaboratively with small businesses and entrepreneurs. Client list available upon request.
